Ginger Lilley Peace, Executive Director


Ginger Lilley Peace assumed the Executive Directorship of the Ponte Vedra Beach Chamber of Commerce in 2004. Ginger relocated to the St. Johns County area two years prior to assist in the management of the St. Johns County Visitor & Convention Bureau advertising account for a Virginia-based ad agency and worked in St. Augustine. Prior to that, Ginger was Marketing Director for CI Travel which is headquartered in Norfolk, VA. CI is the 37th largest travel company in the nation with revenues in excess of $140 million dollars. Ginger is married to her high school sweetheart, Chris, and lives in Ponte Vedra Beach.

Penny Dickhens, Tourism Coordinator


Penny Dickhens comes to the Chamber as the Tourism Coordinator with over thirty years experience in the travel and tourism industries, working most recently as Pier Supervisor at the Jaxport Cruise Terminal in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born in Los Angeles and graduated from Michigan State with a Bachelors degree in Education and English. Penny has lived in cities across the country from Newport, Rhode Island to Honolulu, Hawaii, following her husband’s career in hotel and resort management. After twenty one years in Hawaii, she relocated to San Francisco and retired here in 2002. As you can see, retirement did not last long. Penny has managerial experience in convention and meeting planning, wholesale and retail travel; incentive travel; tour escorting; and political campaign management.
