Mark Your Calendars for the 2011 Ponte Vedra Chamber Car Show

The Ponte Vedra Beach Chamber of Commerce will host their 2011 Ponte Vedra Car Show on Sunday, April 10, at the TPC Sawgrass from 11 am until 3 pm. Over 150 antique, classic, custom and new automobiles are expected to compete for 25 trophies. New this year, several of the "Premier Cars of North Florida," each valued at over $100,000 will be parked on the back lawn of the club and in addition, there will be a Hospitality Tent near the car display area hosted by the TPC where food and drink will be for sale.

We are proud to announce that Brumos Porsche will be our Presenting Sponsor and will have over one half million dollars worth of new Porsches on display. Thanks also to our Silver Sponsor, New York Life - Pirris Insurance & Financial Services and our Bronze Sponsor, Frances King & Associates and Janney Montgomery Scott. Media Sponsors include The Florida Times Union and Shorelines, The Ponte Vedra Recorder and Ponte Vedra Living. This event is made possible by a generous grant from the Tourist Development Council of St. Johns County and other sponsorships are sill available.

Judges including Dan Scanlan of The Florida Times-Union along with others will determine the winners in newly revamped categories that include both a Best in Show Antique and a Best in Show New plus Best Exotic, Best Asian, Best Camaro, Best Corvette, Best Mustang, Best Pontiac, Best BMW, Best Jaguar and Best Porsche. All entries are welcome; however, some classes are limited to those cars made prior to 1992. Each participant will also have the opportunity to win raffle prizes ranging from hotel stays to restaurant dinners and the first 150 cars to register will receive a bag full of car items and a souvenir car show item.
